Stable Return Fund celebrates a decade of stability and strength

For a decade now, the strategy has proven its stability. Launched in 2005, the fund, which focuses on risk-adjusted investments, has demonstrated its strength by remarkably weathering the 2008 global financial crisis and the subsequent sovereign debt crisis. By putting risk first, the fund did not only ensure that losses incurred during the crises were limited, it also allowed the fund to recover faster than other multi-assets solutions. Since its launch, the portfolio displays superior risk-adjusted returns as measured by the Sharpe ratio versus its Morningstar peer group category¹.

The Nordea 1 – Stable Return Fund is a global balanced portfolio with a total return focus. This “all-weather” investment solution is designed to preserve capital over a three year investment horizon while delivering stable returns by investing in uncorrelated asset classes. The fund’s Assets under Management amount to more than EUR 7bn² as at end of October 2015.
